User Story

Purpose

A user story is a tool used in Agile software development to capture a description of a software feature from an end-user perspective. A user story describes the type of user, what they want and why. A user story helps to create a simplified description of a requirement.

Stage

  • Todo: Team prepare to do
  • Doing: Team is working to develop this User Story
  • Acceptance: Team on Acceptance Process of this User Story
  • Cancel: The User Story is will not to do.

Customer Acceptance Stage

  • Accept Customer accepted your result.
  • Declined Customer declined your result.
  • Don't have yet Customer is thinking.

Tips: You can change state of User Stories on a Kanban view.

Create a new User Story from Business Requirement Package

  • Step 1: Go to My Magestore > Business Requirement
  • Step 2: Click User Story to open list of User Story of the Business Requirement Package
  • Step 3: Click Create button
  • Step 4 Input name, product, section, sequence, quanity, unit price and unit

Change Stage of an User Story

Tips: You can also open User Story List from a Project and change State on a Kanban view.

Send Customer Acceptance Request by Slack

If you have many User Stories need to be accepted by a Customer

  • Step 1: Open open User Story List from a Project and change to List View
  • Step 2: Tick to the User Story that you want be accepted to Customer by Slack. Then choose Send Slack Acceptance from Action Drop Down
  • Step 3: Customer will received a Slack noti to click Accept or Decline
  • Step 4 When they click accept/decline, a message will be sent to your group channel on Slack

If you only one User Story need to be accepted by Customer

  • Step 1: Open open User Story List from a Project open one User Story
  • Step 2: Click to Send Slack Acceptance
  • Step 3: Customer will received a Slack noti to click Accept or Decline
  • Step 4 When they click accept/decline, a message will be sent to your group channel on Slack

Send Customer Acceptance Request by Email

If you have many User Stories need to be accepted by a Customer

  • Step 1: Open open User Story List from a Project and change to List View

  • Step 2: Tick to the User Story that you want be accepted to Customer by Email. Then choose Send Email Acceptance from Action Drop Down

  • Step 3: Customer will received an Email to click Accept or Decline

  • Step 4 When they click accept/decline, a message will be sent to your group channel on Slack

If you only one User Story need to be accepted by Customer

  • Step 1: Open open User Story List from a Project open one User Story

  • Step 2: Click to Email Acceptance

  • Step 3: Customer will received an Email to click Accept or Decline

  • Step 4 When they click accept/decline, a message will be sent to your group channel on Slack

Summary Acceptance Value

Goto to Slack > Magon and ask her about: Acceptance this month
